On Saturday 9 June, Porsche Centre Cardiff welcomed over 400 guests to our Sportscar Together Day in celebration of 70 years of Porsche. To mark the 70th birthday, events took place around the globe with sportscar drivers, enthusiasts and fans worldwide.
On the day, guests were able to take demonstration drives and Porsche Driving Consultants were on hand to explain the features and handling of the vehicles, including the new Cayenne, 718 Boxster and 911. The Macan was the most popular choice on the day, which meant children could accompany their parents on a test drive.
Guests also had the chance to go on a workshop tour with Aftersales Manager Martin Wright. Martin gave an overview of the types of work our Porsche-trained Technicians carry out and explained the Direct Dialogue Bay process.
A selection of classic cars and Porsche Approved Pre-Owned vehicles were available to view, alongside the full Porsche range. Activities included a driving simulator, climbing wall and Porsche Go Karts. Refreshments including a hog roast, and sweets were available throughout the day.
Thank you to the guests that attended our celebration. If you have any enquiries please contact the Centre on 02920 606 520 and ask to speak to a member of the Sales Team.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
