What is the Porsche Taycan’s Range?

The driving range of a Porsche Taycan can vary depending on the model, the size of the battery and the conditions that the battery is exposed to such as temperature. The Taycan 4S with performance battery has an estimated range of up to 230 miles in real world use however some customers have reported ranges of up to 250 miles.

How long does it take to charge a Porsche Taycan?

As with driving range, the charge time of a Taycan can also depend on several factors. The charging station being used and the capacity of the battery being charged will have the biggest impact on charge time. For example, using a 270 kW DC fast charger can take your battery from 5% to 80% in just 20 minutes, meanwhile, an 11kW AC charger would take upwards of 9 hours.

Where can I charge my Porsche Taycan?

You can charge your Taycan at a growing number of public charge stations across the UK. However, over 80% of charging is usually done at home. This can help to reduce the cost of charging and has the added benefit of being very convenient. Our Porsche Centre is equipped with charging infrastructure that is available to use.

Which Porsche Taycan should I purchase?

Depending on your personal preferences and lifestyle requirements the Taycan is available in 3 body variations, the Taycan Saloon, Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo. Each model can tackle different lifestyle scenarios but is still available in the usual sub-derivatives, 2WD, 4S, GTS, Turbo and Turbo S. You may wish to view and test drive each model before making a decision.

Is the Porsche Taycan four-wheel drive?

The Taycan has the option for two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive variants. However, much of the product line-up is four-wheel drive. These derivatives come with a dual-motor setup, providing power to the front and rear wheels.

Does the Porsche Taycan have 5 seats?

The Porsche Taycan has four seats as standard. However, a fifth seat can be added to the car by selecting the 2+1 rear seating option. The converts the central console of the rear seats into a small central seat. So, depending on your chosen configuration the Taycan can have 4 or 5 seats.

How fast is a Porsche Taycan?

The fastest production Taycan is the Taycan Turbo S. This model can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.6 seconds and will continue accelerating all the way to its top speed of 162 mph. The other models have a slightly slower performance however they still deliver impressive performance figures.
